Hello ShuffleCats Friends everywhere!

It has been quite some time since I’ve written, but there hasn’t been much in the way of new ShuffleCats news…until now! Mark and Ken have finally put the finishing touches on their new recording. They have decided to add the new songs to the 4 previous songs that were “Light of Day,” and release the new CD as a full-length recording also entitled “Light of Day.” The projected due date for this 13 song release is this coming fall of 2016. Stay tuned for upcoming news.

In the Meantime…Ken has been playing guitar for MADD COMPANY, a tribute to Bad Company band. Mark has been busy singing for “SNS,” a Southern Rock/Classic Rock band in the Twin Cities. They too have started recording a CD. SNS will be doing a Showcase on Saturday, April 2, at the South St. Paul VFW on Concorde. They are donating the proceeds to the Fisher House. Fisher House is a place that boards families of military personnel and veterans who are receiving treatment at the V.A. Hospital in Minneapolis. This is also Mark’s “2nd” annual 50th Birthday party.

Lastly…It is with great sadness and heartbreak that The ShuffleCats say good-bye to Gary Folkestead. Gary was their long-time sound tech and friend. Gary succumbed to lung cancer on Tuesday, March 22, 2016. He was a gentle soul who was a friend to all he met. He will be greatly missed by all of those in and out of the ShuffleCats circle.

Well, until next time…take care and stay tuned!
